The IOMP is specifically designed to meet the demand from working professionals seeking to pursue graduate education while continuing in their career path, providing you with hands-on, practice-oriented I-O master’s coursework in  Workforce Management and Leadership Development tracks.  

 
The program is structured through a combination of distance and classroom learning in an executive-style format, with Friday afternoon and Saturday scheduling - taught at UGA's Gwinnett campus by members of the Ph.D. faculty and alumni of the program.

 hiring and firing employees, creating organizational charts, shaping corporate culture, mergers and acquisitions, managing employee communications, settling employee disputes, creating benefits programs, navigating government regulations, dealing with legal issues such as sexual harassment and occupational safety, and setting up policy and programs for measuring performance, compensating, recognizing, and training employees
